Shaw AFB, RPI Group and BOS 100® Team up to Protect Private Property

“Everything we do on Shaw AFB to protect the planet, from simple daily energy conservation to intensive treatment options like this one, all tie in to ‘Service before Self.’ These cleanups are not only required by law, they are simply the right thing to do.”
— Major Brandon Goebel, 20th Civil Engineer Squadron Commander.Well said, Major Goebel, and thank you for your service to our country.I would also like to thank the consulting team, AECOM & Spectrum, for placing their faith in RPI Group for this challenging project. Gary Simpson, Vice President of AST Environmental, was RPI Group’s project lead and reports that 60,000 pounds of BOS 100® were injected at approximately 130 locations at depths ranging from 125 to 175 feet. This Permeable Reactive Barrier (PRB) project was recently well-chronicled by Senior Airman Ashley Maldonado-Suarez, 20th Fighter Wing Public Affairs. Click here to read her article.
